Acclaimed writer for children and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.

A spokesman for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."

Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.

The company declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on private personnel issues."

An Illustrious Literary Career

Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies globally in dozens of tongues.

The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.

A number of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.

He has published over four dozen titles combined, which features a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins in October.

Television and Literature

He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He was made an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.

This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
