An aircraft carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the plane's windshield, according to an announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The aircraft touched down based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson said in a social media post.
Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the Belgian capital at the time.
