White House Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Additional Epstein Estate Photographs Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have made public a fresh batch of what they labeled "disturbing" pictures from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 issued later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is probing the actions and ties of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Included in the notable figures seen in the opening set are celebrities such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are obscured.

White House Reaction

The White House responded to the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the images for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a presidential representative said, asserting that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats ever have by frequently urging transparency, making public numerous documents of documents, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Statement

The photographs were released devoid of explanation, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"The moment has come to stop this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a release.

The disclosure of these images occurs alongside the oversight committee continuing its investigation into the affair.
